Building upon the work done at the previous two KIJ Global Zone – partnering with charities and learning all about the SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals) this KIJ the focus is very much on what we can do as Scouts to make a difference locally in Kent and around the world.

The theme of our 2025 Jamboree is ‘Sustainability’ so the aim is to run the G.A.S.P.! Zone as sustainably as possible. A detailed analysis of all items purchased for the bases has been carried out to minimise the impact to the planet. Some items will be reused afterwards by different Kent Scouts teams, others will be available to hire out by Districts, Groups & Units for normal meeting nights. As well as this we are holding an auction in the run to up to, and during, KIJ from 1st June 9am to 8th August midday to raise funds for Kent Scouts by selling off some of the resources used to Groups or individuals.
